ATB Financial recognized for Top Privacy Policy

Edmonton, Alberta - ATB Financial was awarded top honours for its privacy policies among Financial Services organizations in Canada. The award was issued by Nymity Inc., a leading Canadian privacy research firm, who evaluates organizational policies for their availability, transparency, clarity, conciseness and easy-to-read content.

Nymity Inc. identified the top privacy policies in Canada by evaluating the policies of over 200 companies across the country in eight industry sectors: banking, telecommunications, retail, financial services, insurance, media, consumer services and business services. Each organization was assessed against 63 key transparency considerations found in Nymity's Canadian Notice Index.
